Administrative Assistant
EcoAnalysts, Inc. is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Port Gamble, Washington team. The Port Gamble Environmental Laboratory is a consulting laboratory focused on performing aquatic toxicity testing on water, sediment, and other matrices. The primary responsibilities of this position are to serve and support employees with their general office needs. The ideal candidate will ask questions, be open to constructive feedback, and care about the overall success of the company. The following is a brief list of some of the major duties of this position:
Answering the general telephone line and directing inquiries to the appropriate people
Accounts payable
Filing
Document formatting
Running errands; sample pickup/drop off
Internal database updates
Office/laboratory supply inventory, ordering, and stocking
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of one year experience working in office administration, preferably in a laboratory environment
Education: High school diploma or GED
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Attention to detail
Proficient at reading, writing, timely communication, and meeting deadlines
Works well independently and within a team setting (proactive, quick learner that is detail oriented, ability to multitask)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude is an absolute necessity
Ability to perform work in an efficient manner and continually improve

We provide ecological field sampling, laboratory, and consulting services to a variety of Federal and state agencies, municipalities, tribes, consulting/engineering firms, and various industrial clients, such as power, mining, manufacturing, transport, etc. EcoAnalysts has conducted ecological work in every state and Canadian province. We are a small business by federal contracting standards ($16.5mm), we employ a range of 60-75 people, we have physical offices in Idaho, Florida and Washington state.
