Rachel Fox
AQUATIC BIOLOGIST
Rachel Fox is an aquatic biologist who joined EcoAnalysts in 2021. Her taxonomic expertise is primarily freshwater mussels and invertebrates. Since joining EcoAnalysts, she worked with unionid mussel sampling in the Mississippi River in Illinois/Iowa, Black River in Missouri, and Little River in Oklahoma. Originally from Michigan, her previous work focused on aquatic invertebrates of the upper Midwest. She also worked on mussel monitoring, surveys, and contaminants of emerging concern research with Michigan mussel species. She completed her master’s thesis on the nitrogen and phosphorus cycle in agricultural ditch ecosystems.
